      I have a minor dent in the rear quarter panel. Because the sheetmetal is aluminum, the cost to repair--which in this case means replace--is $5000 and the time it takes to have the work done is estimated at 4-6 weeks. Regular body shops can't and/or wont do the work. Otherwise the car is wonderful, but the cost and time to repair is a major problem…

      This car is just like the difference between a smart phone and a flip phone. There are way too many differences to list. Honestly we don't know if we will ever be able to by a car that is not a Tesla. Seems like this car is 10 years ahead of all others. We have taken well over 16 long distance trips since we have owned the car. We found we stop less than when we had a gas car. By the time we get out of the car use the restroom we are usually ready to go. The longest trip we took the car on was Tallahassee to Key West. 1,200 miles and we love it. We stopped 3 times to refuel the car. We stopped an additional 2 times to let our toddler stretch. The toddler needs to stop more than the car does.
